At the center of the story are five sisters who, after the death of their priest father, find themselves alone with real life — outside their familiar routines, on a fragile bridge between the past and an uncertain future, where every choice comes with difficulty.

In the third volume, the sisters cannot avoid ideological and political upheavals unfolding against a turbulent historical backdrop. Yet each of them shows remarkable strength of spirit, confronting seemingly hopeless circumstances and finding her own path forward.
