DIY: Garden sculpture and wall painting

A visual study of spontaneous, non-professional art that emerges in the urban environment. The zine features a selection of photographs taken in various cities across Ukraine over several years, documenting unique artistic expressions created by residents in apartment entrances, courtyards, on building facades and technical structures.

ZhEK-art is a naive, sincere and sometimes absurd aesthetic that arises from the need to organize space, a sense of beauty or simply the desire to express oneself. It includes painted benches and walls, whimsical inscriptions and handmade decorative elements that together shape a distinctive urban landscape.
