TYPEONE is a magazine about graphic design and typography that uses type as a starting point for conversations about culture, business, technology and innovation. Founded in 2020, it has become a unique publication combining design insights, practical experience and visual experimentation — documenting how design is evolving right now.

The anniversary issue (182 pages, with 30% expanded content) was created in collaboration with Studio Groundfloor, the team that has shaped the magazine’s visual identity from the beginning. This time they also acted as guest editors, asking not only what typography looks like in 2025, but what it actually means.

Inside are essays on culture, innovation, studio practices, analysis and interviews. Contributors explore how type can resist, preserve, include and disrupt. Each article is set in a typeface created by the people it discusses, meaning the issue reflects cultural diversity not only through its content but also through its visual form. The overall structure was designed by SGF with a precision and intentionality that mirrors the nature of typography itself.
