On the Edges of Graphic Design from A—Z—∞ explores the past, present and future of alternative graphic design through the lens of the international and interdisciplinary community formed around A—Z Presents — a Berlin-based space for experimental graphic design.

Structured as a kind of index of alternative graphic design, the book brings together projects, events and practices developed within A—Z over the past six years. At the same time it looks ahead, exploring how designers from different countries imagine the future of graphic design and its role within a broader cultural and interdisciplinary context.

The first section — A—Z — presents projects, workshops, exhibitions, conversations and other initiatives in an alphabetically organized, cross-referenced format. The second section — ∞ — focuses on speculative and critical perspectives on the future of the discipline, addressing topics ranging from embodiment in digital environments and AI to language, interspecies relations and new forms of coexistence.
