Memorabilia Vol. 1

Memorabilia Vol. 1 is a time-capsule book dedicated to the vivid and layered history of Dutch rave culture. Created by Luca Lozano in collaboration with Podiumkunst and Archival Consciousness, the project aims to digitize and preserve artifacts of Dutch club and nightlife culture for future generations.

The publication brings together 432 flyers from the rave scene, collected from the archives of friends and key cultural figures — including Paradiso, the legendary RoXY club, artist Dadara and Miss Djax. The book captures the raw DIY energy of a scene that lived through the rise and decline of gabber, the transformation of club culture and the international exchange of ideas.

It is a reminder of rave as a space of freedom and radical self-expression.
