Pica Pica 2

Pica Pica 2 is a collection of drawings by Mark Bohle, an artist and designer based in Barcelona. His practice emerged from graffiti and evolved into graphic design, where he blends pop culture, typography and everyday symbols into unexpected compositions.

The publication brings together works created while constantly moving between Barcelona, Stuttgart, Berlin and other points across the map. The book includes drawings from thirty sketchbooks Bohle filled starting in December 2023.

These pages are a space for experimentation: lines that “think”, stretched-out scribbles and drawings with irony directed at themselves. What unites them all is a vivid sense of curiosity and freshness.

For Bohle the sketchbook is a tool for exploring forms and ideas that may later evolve into fully realized projects. Pica Pica 2 captures this continuous process — a way of looking at the world that never stands still.
