Return. Anthology of Contemporary Prose

Return is the second anthology of contemporary prose by graduates of the Litosvita school, selected by a jury including Rostyslav Semkiv, Bohdana Romantsova and Hanna Uliura.

The stories explore abandoned houses near the front line, small towns where death is a defining event and occupied cities clinging to life.

Characters include a florist creating funeral bouquets, a schoolteacher devoted to her students, a carpet with a life more eventful than many humans, a chicken named Rebecca and even a love story between aliens against the backdrop of planetary destruction.

Themes of death, resurrection, loneliness, loss and self-discovery are depicted by Litosvita graduates in the anthology Return.
