For this project Melnychenko sent disposable film cameras to Ukrainian military personnel, asking them to document their daily lives, military service and routines. Alongside the developed cameras, participants returned handwritten letters and small personal artifacts of their choosing. The book features stories from 21 soldiers stationed across different sections of the front line. According to the author, the idea emerged as a way to continue documenting the war once regular trips to the front became impossible. The project was realized in collaboration with the photo lab and store Fotovramci."}
