According to the author, this style consists of four visual manifestations (or modes): forms of rural architecture (the traditional house and wooden church), Ukrainian masonry baroque of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries (Orthodox church architecture), Ukrainian architectural modernism at the turn of the twentieth century, and Ukrainian architectural neo-baroque from the 1910s to the present day.
