Local Gr0up is a platform for Ukrainian artists based in Berlin, aimed at developing and presenting experimental artistic visions. The project was founded in February 2021 and began with the release of the Local Stickerbook magazine, each issue featuring works by 20 contemporary Ukrainian artists in sticker format. The collective later expanded into both print publications and art events of various formats. Lexicon of Nature is a visual encyclopedia of stress in human life, the digital world and nature. It was initially conceived as an attempt to transform the team’s individual reaction to the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine into a collective reflection. The publication brings together visual works, English-language essays and poetry by contemporary artists from Ukraine and other countries, all united by the theme of experiencing stress across nature, humans and digital entities.
