Slanted #45 — Sex

“Slanted” is a design and typography magazine published by the German publishing house of the same name. Each issue explores different aspects of design through visuals and conversations with creatives. Nearly every issue becomes a bestseller among our audience.

Issue #45 focuses on the themes of the body, gender and sexuality. The materials were assembled in collaboration with Munich’s AAP Archive, which has collected more than 89,000 zines, booklets, posters and other printed artifacts since the 1980s. The issue examines how design shapes our understanding of corporeality, identity and the visibility of marginalized groups.
